How does resistance of wire warry with the area of its crosssection

as area of cross section increases resistance decreases

because resistance is inversely proportional to cross section of wire

Resistance of a wire is inversally proportional to its area of cross section, that means if the area of cross section is doubled the resistance becomes 1/2.
