Hey dude

Respiration occurs in plants by the process of photosynthesis.............Photosynthesis is the process by which plants use light energy to convert carbon dioxide and water into sugars.............. Respiration occurs when glucose (sugar produced during photosynthesis) combines with oxygen to produce useable cellular energy...............This energy is used to fuel growth and all of the normal cellular functions..........

arun0mishraoxssir: But respiration and photosynthesis are totally opposite.
Adam111: yes
Adam111: this means when there is no light then plants don't respireMm
Adam111: bolo
Adam111: so photosynthesis is not the main condition for respiration

Hello there your answer

Respiration occurs in plants through stomata which are present on the leafs surface.
leaves have tiny pores on them which allows gaseous exchange through this carbondioxide is taken inside and oxygen is given out

Hope it helps you dear...
