Paper is made out of cellulose fibres extracted from the trees. Therefore to make paper we cut the trees. This way the more paper we use the more trees will be cut by us. Hence, the use of paper has a direct impact on deforestation. If we save paper the use will decrease therefore as the use of paper will decrease the consumption the will decrease and to fulfill a less requirement the cutting of trees i.e, deforestation will also decrease.
