experimentally it is found that the solubility of most compound depends strongly on temperature and, if a gas, on pressure as well as we shall see the ability to manipulate this solubility by changing the temperature and pressure has several important consequences .

Answer:

Solubility of gas in liquid decrease with the increase in temperature.

Because dissolution of gas in liquid is highly exothermic process.

And solubility of gas in liquid increases with the decrease in temperature.

Solubility of gas in liquid increases with the increases with the increase in pressure, because solubility of gas in liquid is directly propotional to pressure
