new species of form when the population of the same species splits into two separate groups which then get isolated from each other graphically by the barriers such is mountain river or sea the geographical isolation of two groups of population lead to the reproductive isolation due to which no jeans are exchange between them after thousands of years the intruders all of these isolated groups of population become so different they will in capable of reproducing with each other even if they happen to meet again this lead to from of new to species
