The substance with high specific heat capacity are poor conductors of heat and electricity while thosse with low specific heat capacity are good conductors of heat and electricity.

Specific heat capacity is energy required to raise the temperature of unit mass of the substance by one degree. the unit of heat capacity is KJ/mol.K.

Thermal conductivity is define as "Amount of heat transfer through per unit length of material.
