Stress affects our immune system by reducing its ability to fight off the antigens thus one becomes susceptible in different infection.

Explanation:

Immune system is a network of cells that contain proteins used to fight and defend the body from different infections. When a person has stress the immune systems are weakened thus getting an infection becomes easy.

Stress makes our body to produce very large amount of stress hormone called cortisol which will limit inflammation. If this happen our immune system becomes overworked thus it cannot protect a person properly.
