TAP ROOTS

The main root of a plant which grows straight downwards and from which smaller roots grow. EXAMPLE

FIBROUS ROOTS

Fibrous roots are opposite of tap roots . they are network of roots spread . they are like our hair which are spread in all directions . EXAMPLE

wheat, rice, corn etc
