How does temperature affect Molarity.

Answer:

With temperature, molarity varies. Molarity is solute moles per litre of solution. As the temperature increases, water expands, so the solution's volume therefore increases. In more litres, we have the same number of moles, but the molarity is smaller at higher temperatures.

Molarity decreases with increase in temperature.

Note:

Molarity = volume of solution (in L)/number of moles of soluete

Number of moles are independent of temperature but volume increases with increase in temperature.
