As the altitude increases, the density increases, which causes the temperature to fall.
- India has high mountains of about 6000 meters. The Himalayas protect India from the cold winds blowing from Central Asia. This explains why winters in India are warmer than in Central Asia.
- Pressure and wind systems, altitude, topography, latitude, currents, and distance from the sea are variables that influence the climate of India (the continent). So there are a total of six factors that affect India's climate.
- Temperatures at high altitudes are usually much cooler than at sea level. This is due to low air pressure. As the air rises, it expands, leaving fewer gas molecules.
- Oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide - they are less likely to collide with each other.
