Carbon dioxide is a naturally occurring greenhouse gas. An increase in the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere imbalances the balance and also creates overabundance of green house gasses trap addition heat. This trapped heat leads to melting ice caps nad rising over sea levels which causes flooding and other natural disasters.
