HEY MATE!!! HERE'S UR ANSWER!!!^_^

What causes the green house effect?
Carbon Dioxide causes the harmful green house effect. It constitutes about 81% of the harmful gas emissions.

Before the effects let's first understand what is green house effect.
Our atmosphere allows the high frequency radiation (Infrared rays) to pass through it, which comes from sun. This radiation reaches to earth and after some absorption (this radiation is also absorbed and radiated by green house gases), earth reflects back low frequency radiation (Infrared rays) which cannot pass through the atmosphere. This radiation is trapped in our atmosphere and keeps our atmosphere warm, this is called green house effect.

What does green house effect does actually to the earth's atmosphere?
Greenhouse effect increases the temperature of the earth. The gases responsible for greenhouse traps the infrared radiations which lead to heating of the earth's surface.Water vapour, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and ozone are some of the primary greenhouse gases in earth's atmosphere.

So,now here are some of the effects of green house or increase of carbon dioxide:
Green House Effect: (1) The climate of the earth has never been free of change. It's composition, temperature and self-cleansing ability have all varied since the planet first formed. Yet the pace in the past two countries has been remarkable. The atmosphere's composition, in particular, has changed significantly faster than it has at any time in human history.

(2) In colder regions, the winter will be shorter and warmer and the summer will be longer a hotter. A warmer climate is likely to make some cities dangerously hot.
