The Atmosphere contains Gases with different ratios
Nitrogen 78%
Oxygen 21%
Argon 0.093%
Left ones are other rare gases.
The nuclear structure of all these elements and compounds are different. This causes the harmful radiations travelling from outer space towards us.
Hence, atmosphere acts as a blanket to all living organisms.
