Atmospheric pressure is an altitudic phenominon . As we go higher and higher the atmosphere pressure becomes lower and lower .This is because as we go higher the air becomes thinner. Also the atmospheric pressure decreases because there is absence of oxygen and carbon dioxide which are bulky gases.
