The young seagull had one sister and two brothers who had already flown away.

Now he is left alone on his ledge.

Since he was afraid to fly, he had ran forward till the edge of the ledge.

He had tried to flap his wings, but out of fear, he ran back away and hid in the little hole where he used to sleep at night.

He was afraid that his wings would not support him and he may fall down and sink.
