bishop changes the mind of the convict by treating him with full love and affection. when convict threatened him ,he called the convict brother.he even adviced the convict to have some dinner and to take rest.

• Convict was a normal man who became a wild beast.after the harsh treatment which he experienced in the jail. He became a wild beast.
• Once, Convict come to bishop's house to stole food. Instead of reporting this to the police as all did, he understand that sending this convict again to jail coupd not definitely make a change in him.
• Love and Human sympathy are great healers. The Bishop treated Convict very well. He gave him food and shelter. But, the convict stole Bishop's Candlesticks.
And when the convict was caught by the police, bishop told them that he didn't stole it and he gave it to convict. He was sure that if he again sent him to jail, he will became even more worser.This left a deep impression in the Mind of Convict and the wild beast was a man again.
