how does the boiling point of liquid vary with pressure

Thank you for asking this question. The boiling point of any liquid can vary according to the atmospheric pressure which surrounds it. When the internal vapour pressure of any liquid becomes equal to the atmospheric pressure, the liquid boils. when the atmospheric pressure is lower such as in elevated places the liquids boil at a lower temperature. As elevation pressure goes up , atmospheric pressure goes down. and as pressure goes up boiling point also rises. hope this answers your question clearly
