Burning of fossil fuels results in gases harmful which result in acid rain. Acid rain effects the nature as well as monuments.

When fossil burns then oxides of nitrogen and sulphur is produced and react with water droplets of rain which leads the formation of acids i.e. Nitric acid and sulphuric acid.

Adverse effects

They release some gases like- carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide.

1.Due to release of CO2, the global warming will increase.

2.Due to CO, the more people will suffer from asthma.

3.They pollute the environment as well as acid rain takes place.
