When the death rates are lower and birth rates are higher the population of a place increases. The natural growth rate is the difference between its birth and death rate. Due to increase in natural growth rate the population of the world has also increased .Migration of people from one country to another also changes its population. Due to emigrants and immigrants the population increases and decreases. People who leave a country are known as emigrants. Ex :- Sudan . People who arrive in a country are known as immigrants. Ex:- Australia , England , USA. Generally, people migrate from a less developed country to a better developed country in search of better food , job opportunities and shelter and security.
