(i) Auxins- It is synthesised at the shoot tip.
It helps the cells to grow longer.
(ii) Gibberellins: It promotes cell growth in plants.
(iii) Cytokinins: Promotes cell division.
(iv) Abscisic acid: It is only hormone which inhibits growth.
Its effects include witting of leaves.
