How does the density of liquid (gas) vary with temperature??

Because the density is inversely proportional to temperture. If the temperature increases then density decreases and vice-versa.

With rise in temperature, the average kinetic energy of gas/liquid molecules increases. And as a result in case of liquids and gases, as the temperature increases, the volume of the particular liquid/gas also increases by a large amount. Therefore, the density decreases considerably.

*ANOTHER-WAY ANSWER

In case of liquids and gases (fluids), they both expand to a great amount (i.e., a great extent) which results in significant change (increase in volume). Since we know density is mass per unit volume, so, with a high change in volume, density will also changes (decreases)
