How does the embryo receive nutrients in the mother's womb?

There are some structures ka chronic villi which are surrounded by uterine tissue and maternal blood . These chronic villi and uterine tissues make joint functional unit ka placenta ...which provide O2 , nutrients and help in the removal of waste and CO2 as well.


Chronic villi are finger like projections on the outer layer of the blastocyst ka    trophoblast.  


Blastocyst is a few cell based embryo with a cavity ...
