Hello !
Qn. How does the embryo receive nutrition in the Mother's womb?
Ans :
A special tissue called placenta , which is present on the walls of the uterus
Placenta is a disc shaped tissue .
It is surrounded by villi, and blood vessels , which provides a larger surface area for exchange of glucose and oxygen for the developing embryo.
Waste materials produced by the embryo are also expelled out through placenta.
Hope this helps you !
