How does the force between two objects change when the distance them is reduced to 1/3?

F=GMm/d^2
Now, d=d/3
So, 
F=GMm/((d/3)^2)
F=GMm/((d^2)/9)
F=GMm*9/d^2
F=9(GMm/d^2)
F=9F
Hence, if distance is reduced to 1/3, force will be 9 times.
