Your question is incomplete frequency would never depend on the length of the string until you keep other things such as mass per unit length the tension in the string if you keep this conditions constant then only the frequency will depend on the length and that too inversely which we say as fundamental frequency  F= 1/2L*k  Where F is frequency  L is length and k is a constant which has tension/ mass per unit length the whole underroot
