The Constitution obligates the government of Nepal to enact laws necessary to implement fundamental rights within three years of the promulgation of the constitution. The Constitution has retained the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) to which the Interim constitution had given constitutional status.

1 ) In Nepal the Constitution of 2015 clearly mandates the concept of rule of law through its perambulatory provisions and other provisions regarding fundamental rights. We are now following British pattern of rule of law despite our written and supreme law of the land.
