Government uses minerals for development purposes. Minerals are procured by various industries for manufacturing goods. For example, coal, iron ore, limestone etc are used in iron and steel industries for manufacturing steel. Government also export minerals which are found in the country in large quantities.

government uses minerals for beneficial work for people in india like it uses bauxite for building roads , it uses minerals for making dams,drainage systems etc..
