If 2 objects , lets take 2 magnets.......

If 2 magnets are taken in 2 cases

case 1

Both are placed at a distance of 3 cm.

case 2

Both are placed at the distance of 20 cm.

So in both the cases,

In case 1

Magnets are closer and thus the magnetic force between them is larger than case 2 because in case 2 , both magnet are placed further.

So ,

we can say that magnetic force b/w case 1 is larger than case 2.

In same way force of gravity or gravitational force acts.

If both the 2 objects are closer or distance between them is less , than force of gravity would be more.

And if they are placed farther , or distance between them is more ,then force of gravity would be less.
