"There were concerns that Qutub Minar's foundationwas being weekend by rainwater seepage. The minar stand on a slight depression which causes rain water to directly flow to its foundation. This apart the ground around the minar has loose soil which absorbs rainwater. we have now commented it with time terracing ans ni water can come mera the moments foundation." said a senior ASI officer.

The 72.5 meter height Tugalaq-era structure is one of the three world heritage sites in Delhi, the other two being humayun's tomb and Red fort.
