Innisfree is the poet's (W.B Yeats) boyhood haunt which also represents is state of mind. The poet wishes to escape to Innisfree as  it is more peaceful than the place where he is now. It is a place which the poet considers an ideal place to love in which does not have all the restless humdrum of his life in the city. When he is away, he recalls the sound of the lake water washing the shore. It is the peace that is slowly acquired from the natural surroundings in Innisfree. It is a peaceful place where one can hear the vibrant sounds of nature.

(From the chapter - 'The Lake Isle of Innisfree by W.B Yeats)

Hope it helps :)
