we know that k= 1/2mv^2 i.e= mv^2/2=mv*v/2=p*v/2multiply nr.and dr. by mthen we get=

                   p*v*m/2m=p^2/2m

hence k is directly proportional to square of momentum.

thus kinetic rnergy will change to square of 2 i.e by 4 times

hope it iis uesful for you
