• Land Breeze :- The wind that blows from land to sea at night is known as a land breeze.

• Sea Breeze :- The wind that blows from sea to land during the day time is known as sea breeze.

These two phenomenons are inter-related. In the day time the cool breeze from the sea blows towards the land and the warm air from the land starts to rise, whereas in the night time, the cool breeze from the land blows towards the sea and the warm air from the sea starts to rise.
