Length of small intestine of sheep is longer than that of wolf because the length of small intestine of hebivores is longer than carnivores because hebivores eat plants and plants have a complex compound named cellulose and cellulose require large area to be digested so to digest cellulose herbivores have long small intestine.

ANSWER:

The herbivorous digestive tract are longer than that of the carnivorous animals.  Length of the 'small intestine of the sheep' is longer than the wolf as wolf is carnivorous.

EXPLANATION:

Carnivorous have small intestine and small caecum because firstly they can absorb the nutrients from the food that they have at a quick pace and secondly they have less amount of 'plant material' in their food.

The herbivores on the other hand have relatively large intestine because they take longer time to absorb the nutrients and plant materials from their food. Their large caecum helps them in breaking the food into plant material and cellulose.
