• The mariner was old, had a grey beard, glittering eyes and held the wedding guest with his skinny hands.
• Even though the mariner had left him and let him go and attend the wedding ceremony he was not able to move because the glittering eyes of the mariner attracted him so much that he couldn't move and was forced to listen the story of the Mariner.
