2. Atoms of same elements are identical while atoms of different atoms differ

Modern atomic theory postulates
(A) which contradicted daltons theory:-
1. Atom is made up if sub atomic particles - proton, neutron and electrons.
2. Atoms of same element may not be same in all aspects(isotopes)
3. Atoms of different elements may not be different in all aspects (isobars)
4. The ratio in which atoms combined may not be simple.

(B) which correlated daltons theory
1. Atoms are the smallest particles that take part in a chemical reaction.
2. Atoms can neither be created nor can be destroyed
