Monsoon plays a vital role in Indian agriculture because it is a necessity for a good crop. Deficiency of monsoon water can result in failure of the whole crop. Monsoon water fertiles the land left for fallowing to regain the fertility and balance the moisture quantity in the soil to keep it soft
