How does the moon differ from the sun the way it shines?

Moon has not it's own light...it shines at night due to the light of sun and it shines less than the sun because sun has its own light..!

because the sun shines every time with itself
but the moon takes the light of sun then the gives it to the earth sothe moon differ from the sun the way it shines
