the primary stage of the malaria occurs in mosquito.when it bite a human the parasite is entered from salivary gland of mosquito into the human there it complete it's secondary (asexual stage). again when the mosquito bites the infected person it again transfer to it's body the fertilization of the gametes of the pathogen occurs in the gut wall of mosquito.thus the same cycle continues and hence it act as a vector in transmission of malarial fever.
