He says that his village is not mentioned in any geography book because the geographers and englishmen  didn't know whether such a type place exists or not. but he says that his village had a great importance as if the state Mysore is to Bharatvarsha , and the sweet karigadabu is to festival meal. similarly hosahalli is as importantto Mysore as the filling of karigadabu is important for festival.
