How does the nucleic acid vary in bacteriophages as compared to TMV.

Nucleic acid vary in bacteriophage (virus infected Bacteria) as compare to TMV ( tobacco mosaic virus) because :-

  • In bacteriophages the DNA of bacteria is infected / used by virus to replicate it self , it means that DNA/RNA or nucleic acid is not belongs to the viral genome.

  • but in TMV it have own RNA molecules or nucleic acid.

so, both nucleic acids are different .
