Parliament controls the executive:
- The parliament keeps a check on the executive by coming up with policies and acts regulated in the country.
- The activities of the executive are supervised by the parliament through different kinds of committees. Question hours, zero hours etc. are held to keep a check on their work.
- Parliament also has the power of ratification in which the bill can only become law after its approval.
- The "Parliament may remove a Cabinet" from the out of power through a vote of no confidence.
- It may reject a "budget" or a "bill proposal" of the Cabinet.
