when it ripens it becomes slightly acidic that is why pH changes

The pH level of mango decreases when it ripens . This decrease in pH is due to the ripening. When the mango ripens the , there is a slightly increase in the acidity of the mango as a result the pH level decrease when it becomes more acidic.
