how does the Pitcher plant trap its food

When an insect enters into Pitcher Plant It can't climb back out against it's hairy walls. It get trapped under the bottom.

Answer:

It attract the insects by its scent and when they come to suck the scent it closes it patels... and they get stick on the sticky juice.... and enable to move.....
