It is a beautiful poem written by Ruskin Bond and here he admires the fact that how his grandmother could climb any kind of trees since her childhood and the last she had climbed a tree was at the age of 62 which is a great deal.When she was asked to grow old gracefully she simply replied that she would rather grow old disgracefully than stop climbing trees.
But one day she climbed a tree and couldn't come down so that poet's father had to make her come down. His father also called a doctor and he said that the poet's grandmother had to take a complete bet rest. His grandmother was very sad and a few days later she asked his father to build a tree hours for her and his father being a duitiful son did what he was told. Now the poet and his grandma drink in the treehouse.
