Explanation:

In the 1st stanza the sea is compared by a metaphor ta a hungry dog. This shows that in the cold winter days the sea is very rough. By the repetition of ' bones ,bones , bones , bones ' the poet shows us that he is hungry. In the 2nd stanza the poet now describes the sea to a playful dog .
