Answer:

the poet has very delicately presented the idea of parent and child relationship in this poem.

As the poem is about the little girl Amanda been born and brought up. The poem deals with all the struggle faced by the little girl.

In the poem, she is ignored by her mother. She would wonder and question about the behavior of her mother towards her.

parents parents children relationships can get complicated but are illustrated how complicated it can get in the poem

thethe poem describes a girl named Amanda and how she is always nagging her mother for her mistakes . the poem describes high expectations a mother has was her daughter and how words effect Amanda in whatever she does does the motivating and compelling Amanda not to do the work. the the mother also finds annoyance in the way Amanda sits describing her to be lazy which might have a very serious impact on her in the future as the child might get demotivated.........
