In sonnet, Not marble,Nor the gilded monuments, William Shakespeare immortalised his poetry by writing it.He says, his poetry has the capacity of withstanding the wars and worstest of weathers. He writes the poetry to show his love towards his friend and hence immortalise him.His little piece of poem will be read by the posterity and will remain till the dooms day until he will be rosen once again.Hence, it is eternal.
