How does the pressure exerted by thrust depend on the area of surface on which it acts? Explain with the help of suitable example

pressure and area are inversely proportional. the more area the less pressure. eg it is easy to carry a bag with broad straps than a bag with thin straps as broad straps cover a large area thus less pressure acts on shoulders.
