How does the pressure of a liquid depend on its depth?

more the depth more the pressure . keeping in mind this principle the dams are also made in which the the bottom part is made wider because at the bottom the pressure is more and the upper part is made slanting. please refer to the chapter force and pressure for more information as there are different principle based on liquid pressure like the pressure of liquids always exerts on its sides
