Answer:

In plants, pollination has major role in fertilization process. The male part of the plant sends germ cells through pollination to the female plant where the germ cell falls on stigma which is sticky. Then, the germ cell, grows the pollen tube which goes through the way of style to the ovary of the flower. Then, the first male gamate fuses with egg cell and this process is called syngamy. And it forms the embryo.

After the fusion of first male gamate, second male gamate is released which fuses with the two polar nuclei to form endosperm which is used for nourishment of growing embryo. This process is also known as double fertilization or triple fusion.
